Okay, I know, this idea probably seems a little nuts to most of you. My close friends who have been helping me with setting up this site have had their fun laughing at me! Well, maybe I am a little crazy, not likely that Oprah staff would see anything significant enough to pay us any attention, but sometimes you never know until you try. So if you have laughed at me too, that is okay!! I don't embarass easily. But as I have found, there are as many problems endemic to the shelters and animal control facilities who are entrusted with the care of these animals as there are problems that the animals themselves face. I don't think this issue has been addressed by the media to any significant level, and getting someone with influence on a national level to expose these problems is something worth striving for..........

We wrote to Oprah, why don't you??? I mean, since we can't get anyone here to listen, well, you know NOBODY "DOESN'T LISTEN" to Miss Oprah Winfrey! Maybe if enough of us send her a message it will get her attention. But hurry, this is her last season!!
On her homepage she has a box "Be on the Oprah Show!" There are a list of topics for this, and on the second page it is continued in the middle. Down the list she has a link, "Oprah come to my hometown!" The link below might take you straight to that page, just fill it in. They ask for a video, ignore that. Tell her our situation, you can reference this website. Be brief, maybe she won't com but maybe she would give 10 minutes of her time on her show to us. GIVE IT A TRY!!
